Congratulations to Hannah Hensley, recipient of the IAM Scholarship!
Hannah is the daughter of Brother James Hensley, a dedicated 20-year IAM member employed by CSX Transportation. She exemplifies the values of academic excellence, leadership, and community service that the IAM is proud to support.
An outstanding student, Hannah has earned an impressive 4.129 GPA while actively participating in the Beta Club and several other school organizations. Her commitment extends beyond the classroom through volunteer work with the Humane Society and a local homeless shelter, demonstrating her dedication to making a positive impact in her community.
In addition to her academic and volunteer achievements, Hannah has excelled as a student-athlete. As Captain of the Varsity Volleyball Team during her senior year, she provided exceptional leadership, helping guide her team to the Regional Finals and the State Quarterfinals.
District 19 proudly congratulates Hannah on this well-deserved scholarship and wishes her continued success as she pursues her educational and personal goals. We also congratulate Brother James Hensley and his family on Hannah’s outstanding accomplishments.
